Purpose
Revitalize the SVA Masters in Branding website to reflect its cutting-edge approach to brand education and position the program as a global leader in strategic brand thinking.
Objective
Create a dynamic, user-friendly digital experience that showcases the program’s thought leadership, forward-thinking curriculum, and vibrant community—while increasing visibility and engagement with prospective students, alumni, and the broader design world.
CHALLENGE
The existing site no longer reflected the energy, sophistication, or impact of the program. The challenge was to design a new platform that not only clarified the user journey and elevated the visual language, but also embodied the values of a program at the forefront of brand innovation.
APPROACH
The redesign process was a deeply collaborative and research-driven effort that moved through several key phases. Stakeholder workshops helped align on core goals, user needs, and the brand voice, while user experience research mapped audience behaviors, content priorities, and accessibility requirements.
From there, iterative design explorations tested typography, motion, and layout systems, leading to the creation of a bold and flexible visual language that amplified both the program’s academic rigor and its creative energy. Finally, responsive development ensured that the experience translated seamlessly across mobile and desktop, delivering a platform that was as visually rich as it was user-friendly.

The project earned 13 design awards, including a W3 Awards Best in Show, a Webby Honoree, Graphic Design USA and a DNA Paris Design Award.
